Rules

Participants are not limited to the residents of the Towns of Oakville and Milton. Everyone is welcome to participate.
The fee to enter is $25 and is tax-deductible. Tax receipts will be emailed to voters no later than August 31, 2021.
Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.
There are 13 full pages to win (the cover and each month of the year). The top fundraiser will be awarded the cover. The top five (5) dog photos, top five (5) cat photos, and top two (2) other pet photos will be awarded their own page in the 2022 Calendar.
The 13 winners will be asked to bring their pet to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society (445 Cornwall Road, Oakville) to have their pictures taken on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. by Russell Gonsalves. Please see the Prize page for the winners' time slots.
By agreeing to the waiver, you will also acknowledge and give permission to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society to use the name, story and photo of the animal entered in various publications and materials, including the 2022 Calendar.
The Oakville & Milton Humane Society reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal or persons in a photo. The registration fee will be not be refunded. Donations collected will be refunded if requested by the donor.
Photos will be accepted online from April 1, 2021 8:00 a.m. to May 20, 2021 11:59 p.m.

Image Requirements:

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is opposed to practices that prevent animals from expressing their natura behaviours. Photos should not feature animals performing unnatural activities, including wearing clothing/hats, or costumes.
Submission is one pet per entry.
