I have been photographing for the OMHS calendar for almost a decade now. It's one of my greatest joys; spending time with the most adorable, quirky and lovable loved ones.

But there's one loved one I know, who though I've photographed a thousand times, has never been entered into the calendar or contest. The sweetest one I know. His name is Moby. And he's been in our life for over 13 years now... In little boats, on hikes, in tents, at work, in cars, in arms, in snow, in rain, on pillows, under blankets...

To know him is to know the adorablest, quirkiest and lovablest loved one there is. I've always felt that if there's one being who can speak without speaking, it's him.

As immigrants to this country, I honestly don't remember much of life before Moby. Everything seems to have started with him. He's old now. But his footsteps around the house continue to remain the most reassuring sound in the world. That life is okay.
