Pet's Story or Bio
Kallie is a Golden Retriever we have been lucky enough to have in our home since she was 8 weeks old. Her love of life, fun and people is evident in everything she does. She was an official member of our Cub Pack for the first 6 years of her life attending hikes or camps whenever possible. 7 years ago she became a Therapy Dog with SJA. In spite of now being blind after glaucoma took both of her eyes, Kallie remains very busy visiting in a Long Term Care Facility, 2 Elementary Schools (she is one of very few Child Tested Dogs) and makes many special visits to businesses, High Schools, Universities and other education facilities. Her tail wags whenever meeting new or old friends. She still loves walks and swimming in the summer whenever she gets a chance. Most of all, Kallie loves her family and spending time with them.
