Pet's Story or Bio
Ethel, a St. Bernadadoodle, was born in a puppy mill, and kept in a barn with about 70 other dogs as breeding stock for the next 7 (or so) years of her life. When she was no longer able to breed, she was given to a rescue for rehoming. After an extended stay with foster parents while she was spayed and many other health issues cared for, we were lucky enough to meet her and welcome her to our home. When she came to us, she was terrified of everything, even going out in the backyard. After almost 2 years, she has grown to be a loving and sweet dog which is amazing. She loves her canine sister and hoodad very much, with hoomum also now receiving affection.

Ethel loves to go exploring on hikes or just walks around the block. She is friendly with all dogs she meets, and most humans. Her big bark is a great security alarm, but her sweet nature quickly makes visitors fall in love with her. She is gentle with children, especially little ones. Always ready for the next adventure, Ethel is first at the door when a walk or car ride is mentioned.
