Adorable Buster is here in loving memory of his much-loved and very greatly missed human mom, Dr. Janice Harvey (November 19, 1959 – December 6, 2023).

Buster was adopted by Janice on May 24, 2021 as a wee kitten. They developed a special bond and he brought her much joy during their time together. He was her home office assistant often taking center-stage on her laptop and delighting many Zoom participants. Buster grew into a cuddly cat who loved to give and receive affection. He was Janice’s travel companion on trips to the cottage and provided comfort as acting nurse when she was ill. Janice planned to grow old with Buster. Sadly, it was not to be.

Buster continues to be loved in his new home with very dear friends of Janice and helps bring them comfort as they think of her every day.

In memory of Janice’s love of animals and kindness to all, Buster is honoured to help raise funds for the shelter and show his fluffy face in the 2025 calendar.
