Pet's Story or Bio
Makwa, meaning bear in Ojibwe, is a rescue from northern Manitoba. She looked like a little bear cub when we volunteered to foster her. She quickly captured our hearts and became our first ‘foster fail’. She loves weekly walks at Bronte Provincial Park in their off leash area and jumps up on every possible stump.
