The Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton was founded in 1936 as an independent non-profit organization providing care and shelter to animals in need. We receive no government funding for our charitable programs and services, and instead rely on our fundraising efforts and the generosity of those in our community.
Now approaching 90 years of service, we remain steadfast in our dedication to improving the lives of animals. Today we offer pet adoptions and lost and found services, run a successful thrift store and provide municipal animal services on behalf of the Town of Oakville. Among many other programs, we provide educational opportunities for youth and community outreach initiatives such as our Pet Food Bank. With almost 400 passionate volunteers by our side, we remain dedicated to supporting pets in our communities.
The Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton is a registered charity # 11906 4350 RR0001.
