This rescue is a non profit organization as defined by IRS code 501(c)(3) and operates through fundraising donations and adoption fees.

Ohio Basset Hound Rescue(OBHR) is an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping the homeless hounds of Ohio. Our funds come solely thru donations and fund raisers. OBHR does not have a shelter of it's own. Our " shelter" exists through our foster families that open their hearts and homes to hounds in need. Donations, adopters and volunteers are always welcome.
