We had been looking for a laid back playmate for our older baby, Bailey. A Bassett hound seemed the perfect fit. Low energy, laid back and calm. Then we met Newton. This spunky,demanding, gonna defend my foster momma and daddy from big, bad Bailey, stole our hearts. So, in September 2013, we picked him up from foster momma,Jen Witt, and have been lovin our "baby" boy ever since.
I'm not so sure that he is the low energy, laid back fellow that we thought we were looking for especially when he "speaks" loudly and does the bassett 500 around the kitchen , but I am thankful everyday for my Newty.
