Magnolia, AKA: Maggie, is our little lady basset! Although she was raised from a puppy by my fiance, when my daughter and I moved in, Maggie didn't hesitate to claim us as her family. She is the very definition of a basset hound, from her romping across the yard and sniffing around, to her laying down in the grass and rolling over when she is just too tired to walk back to the house (This usually results in having to bribe her with treats so she gets up and comes inside!) Maggie is quite the snuggler and will never turn down the opportunity for an afternoon nap! She is loyal but stubborn, friendly but protective, curious but lazy, and just all around fantastic! Coming home to that wagging tail and how excited she is to see you, makes every day a great day!
