Dottie was an adventuresome soul - she traveled to thirteen states and Canada. She dipped her paw into the Atlantic Ocean as well as Lake Superior. She was always ready to go somewhere - and was inpatient when she had to wait. She had her own cat Casanova, and a wardrobe of sweaters, scarfs and a fake raccoon coat. She would go to the statehouse with me to work on animal bills - her job was to guard the car. When I came back to the car after lobbying on an animal bill - she would hide her yawn as to try to keep from me that she had fallen asleep on the job. She loved life and is sorely missed.
