Your Pet's Story or Bio
This was our baby, Zelda. We rescued her in 2011 from a family whose daughter went off to college and they no longer wanted her. She was a year old. In February 2017, a week after her 7th birthday, she was diagnosed with cancer in one of her back legs. The leg was amputated and she was scheduled to start chemo once her incision healed. But before she had the chance to start chemo, the cancer had spread to her other leg and on March 7, 2017, our beloved Zelda crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Zelda was a very mild mannered girl, had the best temperament, and knew no strangers. She loved everyone. We miss her dearly.
