Okmulgee County Pet Calendar Contest Rules
- Contest entry and dates: 10:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 – 10:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, November 25, 2024
- Entry and Donation Fees are; $15 per photo entry, $5 to reserve a special day on the Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance Pet Calendar, and $1 for each vote.
- Calendar preorders may be reserved at time of entry or any time during the contest with a prepayment of $10.
- Photos of cats, dogs, horses, small mammals, reptiles, and birds are accepted.
- People are not allowed in your photo, only pets.
- Your photo may only contain one pet.
- Each pet can only be entered once however, you can enter more than one pet in the contest. Each pet will be a separate independent entry receiving individual votes.
- Photos must be high resolution for printing purposes. (If your pet is one of the top 12 and your original submitted photo is not high enough resolution to be reproduced in the Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance Pet Calendar, you will be contacted and asked to submit a new photo.)
- We cannot accept Polaroids, heavily edited photos, photos with stickers or doodles or any copyrighted or professional photos.
- Once entered, photos become the property of the Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance to be used for print and marketing purposes.
- All entries must be submitted before 10:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, November 25, 2024.
How to Enter
Voting
- Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote. We encourage you to share your contest page link (website) with family and friends through email and social media encouraging them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo.
- All donations for votes are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page or at the Okmulgee Times office at 320 W. 6th Street in Okmulgee. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Winner Notification
- The winners will be notified by email or phone. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of the Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, we will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner among remaining eligible entries. Prizes and donations will be fulfilled within 2 weeks after the conclusion of the contest.
