Your Dog's Story or Bio
Maverick was my (intentional) foster fail. I recently had lost my soul dog Chesney in January 2020, a white GSD, after 15 amazing years with her and was completely devastated. I knew I wanted another GSD, but couldn’t bear to get another white GSD at the time. The rescue I worked for rescued a litter of 4, 3-month old GSD/Malinois pups in May of 2020, and I was in love. I knew I’d have my hands full when I went to pick him up, and he came hard charging out of the door, after his siblings calmly walked out, wanting nothing more than to wrestle with them all. My little Covid pup has come a long way since then, but still has a journey ahead of him to become the confident pup I know he is. Maverick has healed my heart in ways I never knew was possible.
