Your Dog's Story or Bio
Branson/Branny/Branmuffin, Buddy, Banny Ban Ban came to live with us during winter 2021 when his original owner, my mother, went to memory care. As a husky, he is the most unique creature I’ve ever cared for. He likes to be outside, pretty much from six in the morning until bedtime, all weather except for rain. In the summer we know it’s about to get hot when he makes a hole under the bush right by the walkway into the house; this allows him to keep one eye on the front door and another on the road. That’s his job! As he’s nearly 12, recently, he started coming inside more often when it’s cold. Hence the new nickname, Old Man Winter. He rarely makes a sound, and communicates with me merely with different eye expressions. I could not possibly love him more.
