Mission Statement
Using no-kill principles, it is our mission to provide for the adoption and placement of rescued cats and kittens in permanent homes. We are further dedicated to the care and well-being of these homeless cats and to educating the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, to reduce the number cats born each year, and the prevention of animal cruelty. We work to save today's cats and prevent tomorrow's.
About this Organization
With respect and compassion for all cats, O'Malley Alley promotes lifelong relationships between people and animals, providing for medical needs and foster care for each precious life until adopted into a good home. We strive to work with animal control and other rescue groups to save homeless cats in our community. We also educate the public on the need to spay/neuter, and alleviate suffering in the feral cat population; help individuals and businesses manage feral cats on their property or under their care and to provide education on: nutritious food, clean water, low-cost shelters for feral cats; and TNR (trap-neuter-return). Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered and community supported. All of our vital life-saving funds come from generous supporters who believe in our mission statement. O'Malley maintains a network of trustworthy rescue partners in the DFW and Austin areas, using those resources frequently to get as many East Texas cats off the streets, vetted, and into indoor only homes as possible.
What will we do with the money?
We rely solely on donations to run the rescue. 100% of donations go to the vetting, maintenance, and care of the cats in our program.
What We Have Done
