Major was rescued through Houston Beagle and Hound Rescue. When he came to his foster home he was a battle-weary guy who just needed a soft bed to lay his skin and bones and a gentle hand to let him know that he was safe. It took a few weeks of hiding under the bed, but soon his personality came out, and his foster family fell in love. This soldier had found his forever home. Major now spends his day carrying his hamburger around, getting belly-rubs, playing fetch, and avoiding the cat.
