Dougie is an emotional support dog who was paired with his owner Tedd, an army veteran, by the organization Paws for Heros in January 2023.

Dougie had a challenging start to his life after being found on homeless on the streets, followed by being returned to the shelter after failed adoption attempts.

Dougie has brought so much joy to his owner Tedd. He is the most loving companion animal he could have imagined.

Dougie's favorite activities are zoomies around the yard with his Australian Shepard brother Shiner, leading his owners to the treat drawer for extra snacks, and snuggling with his family.
