My favorite homebound activity...
Hunter loves laying in the sun, and walking in the desert looking for critters. On sunny days he enjoys swimming in the pool, doing laps and laying on his floaty watching the world go by.

What I am missing most about getting out and about...
Hunter loves people and pets more than anything and has the most gentle demeanor. He visits several hospices each week and enjoys meeting people, and sitting close to them so they can pet him. He has a favorite lady who has a brush waiting for him each week, and she takes him onto the patio and they enjoy a special time together as she brushes him and he looks adoring into her eyes.

Due to the pandemic, Hunter has not been able to do his hospice visits, and doesn't seem to understand why he can't go to visit his friends. In the meantime, we take pictures of him and send them in cards to his favorite people so they know he has not forgotten them.

A little about me...
Hunter was adopted at the age of 2 when his family lived in VA. He is believed to be a Chow Chow, possibly with golden retriever because one of his favorite activities is swimming in the nearest puddle, pool, river or ocean. He came from a shelter in Alabama, and was fortunate to be transported by a system of Chow Chow fans and landed in his forever home. He enjoyed many years in VA, and moved to AZ two years ago to settle into his retirement years.
