Pet's Story
Benny was adopted at 9 months old from a family who no longer had the time or resources to take care of her. She had been in a home with a young girl and they called her "Princess Love" on account of the heart shaped spot on her head. When I took her into my care she was quite shy but that didn't last long as she quickly tapped into her Corgi herding instincts and started wrangling the other dogs and humans in the house, gaining the nick name "Security". She also goes by a number of other names like Bennifer (Lopez), Benny Loca, Eggs Benedict and Benihana and when people meet her they start serenading her with "Bennie and the Jets" by Elton John. While she's had her differences with other female dogs, she is absolute angel with children. She gets so excited when she sees kids on her walks, she somehow knows to get lower to the ground (if that were even possible) and to be gentle, even rolling over to show them her tummy. On top of it all she has a beautiful coat and beautiful light brownish/gray eyes which only feeds her growing ego. Benny is a true character and huge sweetheart.
