Blackjack was a stray, 7 or 8 months old, when we first saw him in our yard in January 2016. We had been feeding another stray and started feeding him. He was very shy and wouldn’t come near us. In March, I was outside when he came limping into the backyard, barely able to put weight on his front leg. We took him to the vet for treatment, vaccines and neutering, and he’s been ours ever since. He is still shy around strangers, but is a sweet boy with a lot to say!
