This was taken on our last walk before we said goodbye to Bailey, our family's best friend of 15 years. Bay was a rescue when I was just 24, before I had babies of my own. My kids have never known a world without her and I caught this bittersweet moment with my oldest daughter.
We miss our friend. We treasure every memory. Our lives are better for having had her in them.
