Patty is one of two sisters who were rescued off the road as kittens on a dark, cold, wet March morning by my husband, Herb. He thought they were baby raccoons at first! He stopped and picked one of them up and the other skittered off into the weeds. So he put the first one back down as "bait" and sure enough, her sister came back out where he scooped them both up!
