When we first rescued Willow and her kittens she was so thin that Willow seemed like the perfect name. She was a fierce and doting mama but she is over that now and instead she dotes on whoever sits next to her at the kitchen counter. Not exactly willowy anymore, but certainly "stately," and with the best purr you ever heard. Which she especially likes to direct toward people who day they don't like cats!
