About 9 years ago there was a severe ice storm in Benson, NC. As we went into our motel, a little black kitten greeted us. After asking staff who she belonged to no one claimed her. Not allowed in - we went down in the morning (3:00 am) and this little kitty drove back to CNY with us. She never experienced an ice storm again - Benson is an inside cat - in our home and hearts ❤️.
