Rocky was three months old when he came to live with us. He was too much energy to handle for his first family, he needed space, exercise, lots of exercise, and more exercise. We had five fenced-in acres, which suited him to a T.

Rocky is the brains of the family, sometimes too smart; he learns things the first time! so we have to be careful that he doesn't learn the wrong things. His high intelligence had us guessing as to his breed, so finally we had his DNA tested and it explains him so well: he is 45% Labrador (pretty obvious); 45% Siberian Husky (not as obvious except for the intelligence and independence of his character); and 10% Norwegian Elkhound (a complete surprise to us). His Husky "share" might also explain why he howls at a full moon.
