Oliver, Olly, The Ollywog, Fuzznugget, and The Bug-Eyed Wonder.

Olly seems to adopt a Border Collie's view of life: to will things to happen by the force of his stare and charisma. An impossibly large volume of silky fuzz, and an unrelentingly social disposition make his demands for play and affection irresistible to even our most cat-skeptic of friends.

Oliver came to us a year and a half ago, and we cannot imagine life without the big ball of fur zipping around at top speeds.

Often described as being more dog than cat, The Ollywog will greet you - loudly - upon arrival, and will demand to be included in whatever happens to be going on, please and thank you.

He is highly committed to sanitation in the kitchen. If I leave meat out for more than a minute or two, he will decide it is no longer fit for human consumption, and will attempt to dispose of it. It is so comforting to know he has our best interests at heart.

Heaven help you if you leave for work in the morning having neglected to dedicate the requisite amount of time to morning cuddles. We are very well-trained: after breakfast comes five to ten minutes of being held in bed, followed by a leisurely lounge at our feet. The absence of this will result in loud rebukes later in the day.

We are grateful every day to the miracle-workers at the OHS for bringing Oliver into our home. Vote Olly!
