Pickle is 7 years old. He was adopted from a PAL site 6 years ago where he had already proven to be a handful and an escape artist. It is easy to understand that he was a stray brought into the OHS. Once freed from his cage he had no intention of going back. Micro-chipped and tagged he can never get lost again. As so often happens it was love at first sight and his human left with a cat instead of the intended purchase that day. He has trained his human to walk with a leash in order that he may enjoy a daily walk. Running for his leash when he hears the word "walkies." He would happily stay out all day to meet and greet passers by inbetween napping under a tree or on a park bench and watching the birds. He concedes to shorter walks in the winter and opts to be carried home. His human has proven useful. He enjoys visiting the neighbours. Invited or not. Any open door is an invitation. If the mood takes him he will be your best friend. Vets are exempted from any form of affection. This loving docile cat embarrassingly turns into a fang baring wild beast at the clinic where his file sports a warning. He can detect his favourite treat, a can of whipped cream being shaken from the next room but is deaf to his name when spoken a foot away. His family fosters kittens and should Pickle choose to mentor one that kitten will be the smartest, albeit naughtiest, one of the litter. Pickle also enjoys car rides, children, ponytails and wildlife videos. He is loved to bits just the way he is.
