Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Jack and Joey in December. They were both elderly, grew together, and were going to be separated. Upon arriving, neither dog ate much, but quickly began to love us as much as we loved them. When Joey still wouldn’t eat, we turned to our vet. Unfortunately, Joey had a large tumor in his mouth, and less than two months after accepting him into our lives he passed, albeit with a loving family and a tummy full of cheeseburger. Jack turned out to be deaf, but quickly learned hand commands. He remains with us, happy, loved, and thriving now that we understand his limitations. Jack loves to run at our camp and his favorite game is to let his momma kiss his face then he wipes it off. Jack and Joey may have been ‘elderly’, but I’m so glad they joined our family!
