Leeloo (OESR Katie)-we fostered a 10 year old English pointer as our first dog with OESR. Within a short period, we knew that Leeloo (our 5th dog, the 5th Element) was not leaving the only nice home she had ever known. In her previous life, she was a kenneled breeding dog. In her time with us she knew nothing but love. She wasn't the smartest of dogs, but she was definitely the sweetest--unless you were a 10-12 week old puppy--she had had ENOUGH of those antics! She was only with us for a short 2 years when a very aggressive cancer took her health in a few short weeks. We were happy to have given her a soft place to lay her head and showered her with love an affection for those last years. <3 This is why we rescue. Leeloo, aka Weewoo.
