Zeus, our Mastiff/Rottweiler mix, was brought into a veterinary clinic at 6 weeks of age after contracting the puppy auto-immune disorder "Strangles". The breeder requested that Zeus be euthanized as he was having difficulty eating due to his sore, swollen muzzle. The kind-hearted veterinarian asked to keep Zeus in order to administer appropriate medication, and proceeded to contact the amazingly considerate and compassionate group "Oxford County Animal Rescue". The founders of the group, John and Melissa Wieler, cared for him those first few days as he lived under the guidance of a fellow Mastiff-big brother "Brix". Upon seeing his picture online, we immediately fell in love. He is such a blessing in our lives, and gives us continuous reasons to smile!
