Your Pet's Story
Maggie and Chance are both rescues. Maggie lived in an apartment in Hamilton and was never outside except to go to the bathroom. When her owner became pregnant, they sold her on kijiji. She was 7 months old. When we brought her home she was afraid of everything, especially the squirrels. Our back yard was a formidable place. One year later, Chance's story is much the same. His owners got him when they had a baby, hoping that puppy and baby would grow up together. Chance has a lot of health issues and when he became too much work they put him for sale on kijiji. He was also 7 months old. They are inseparable now. They greet guests to our B&B like long lost friends coming home. Maggie is 8 now, and Chance is 7. They bring us so much joy, I can't imagine not having them with us.
