Bird(s)' Story
Brewster was originally a racing pigeon that was attacked by a hawk during one of his first races. Left with a wing that never healed correctly, he was no longer wanted by the original breeder, and he ended up being given to the local "bird lady", a woman who had several parrots. He spent a decade there, with the closest he had to a name being the word "Pigeon" written in sharpie on the front of his cage. After adopting, (and properly naming!) Brewster this past winter, we've been having the time of our lives together ever since!
