Bird(s)' Story
Brownie was adopted when I was pre-veterinary student interning at a wildlife rehabilitation center. He came in with a leg injury that resulted in an amputation at the hock. Though he is one-legged, he still walks around happily on his prosthetic leg and enjoys spending time in his pine needle nest, sunbathing, and with his human family. He has become a great joy in my life and I don't know what I'd do without him!
