Bird(s)' Story
Meet my beautiful “Charlie” (before & now photos). 🐦❤️ I rescued him from the stamping plant I work in where he must have thought a puddle of oil was an oasis of water to bathe in. He was so soaked in oil that his feathers were disintegrated from the oil destroying them. It took 3 baths in Dawn dish soap to really get most of the oil off and about 3 months for his feathers to fully grow back in. I was fortunate enough to get his mate “Patti” out of the plant also & they now reside in my coop with other rescues free to come & go at their leisure. They have been with me since July, so I think they’re staying.
