Bird(s)' Story
Hello everybody.

A month ago I decided, after having had an awesome experience with a pigeon, that I just had to have my own pigeon in my life. As we do not have an organisation like Palomacy here in South Africa, I contacted numerous vets and racing pigeon organisations in order to source a bird. and I waited....but nothing was offered to me. I then looked up an organisation that bred white pigeons for release at functions. I asked them for a bird too and was told that they never give or sell any of their birds to people. I pleaded and pleaded and somebody decided that one bird would be given to me. He was delivered to my door that evening. I do not know what motivated the man to give me a single bird as it is totally against company policy, but he arrived. That was only 2 and a half weeks ago and we are going well. He was named by my husband who is totally in love with his BMW motorbike, hence the name BEAMER.
