Bird(s)' Story
Sophia was born in captivity and was surrendered to Animal Control in San Francisco when she was about a year old. Palomacy was overfull and unable to foster her, so her person decided to rescue her on a whim. Sophia is very clumsy and a bit dorky, but she more than makes up for it with her absolutely incredible capacity for love. Now, she and her person are veteran outreach volunteers for Palomacy and have helped many others realize just how gentle these birds are and how unimaginably strong the bonds they form can be. We love you Sophia!
