Bird(s)' Story
Santino is a rescued "meat pigeon", a squab survivor Palomacy rescued in 2008 (when we were MickaCoo). He was a very sick, traumatized youngster. He recovered & grew up in our foster care, became a famous, hard working ambassabird, married, was adopted in 2011, widowed, remarried & then returned to our care in 2017 when his person could no longer keep him & his flock mates. In March of 2019, he & his mate Annie lovingly welcomed the orphaned oops baby of a shelter's racing pigeons & raised him, Jewel, as their own.
