Bird(s)' Story
Black Beauty & Bubble met in the shelter after arriving as strays about a week apart. Bubble arrived as a sick "squeaker" with her sibling, who did not survive. Black Beauty showed up as a stray a few days after Bubble's sibling passed with a racing band that was crushed, causing his leg to swell and rendering him unable to stand. We immediately cut off the band and treated both of the birds, who were recovering side by side while housed indoors. Well, it was love at first sight. And both were adopted together 10/19/19.
