Bird(s)' Story
Nova is a white homing pigeon and most likely a victim of a “dove release.” She was spotted wandering in a wooded median flanked by two active parking lots and a busy street. It took 12 hot summer days, a humane trap, and help from some good folks to rescue her, but today, she’s safe, happy, and very loved by her family—which includes a rescued white German shepherd dog named Kasper and a rescued racing homer named Pomme.
