Bird(s)' Story
Yona arrived in my life through a neighbor’s garage during a rainstorm. We think they lost their flock (a wedding release perhaps.) Our neighbor could not keep a bird, but knew it needed a home. And I felt this pull. We became fast friends. Yona means “dove” in Hebrew, and though they are a pigeon I think it is a fitting name as I think they are so pretty and rules our house. Yona growls like a dog, stalks like a cat, and is silly like a child. We are happy to have our pidgie.
