Lovebirds Little Brown & Perry were rescued separately from exploitative situations of one kind or another but now enjoy a leisurely life in a sunny window spot overlooking Nob Hill. They give back to the rescue community by fostering orphaned feral babies for local wildlife centers. Perry, found scalped, weak, starving, and injured in Berkeley, makes an amazingly dedicated foster dad. And Little Brown, despite her petite size and stature, totally runs the show. She was rescued after being spotted limping and hanging around a gas station in the far out East Bay. Here is the happy couple keeping an eye on their second set of foster babies from outside the nest box.
