Plume(shortened from her shelter name, Plumette), is a one year old king pigeon who has been living with me for three months with her husbird Lu. She is believed to have escaped slaughter at six weeks old in Chicago. She is very cute and bubbly and also not as naive as she comes off. She is very curious and hates to be left out of anything. She is obsessed with collecting materials for her nest and will fly back and forth non-stop if I keep handing her strips of paper. She buries Lu in the nest with them! Here she is watching me very closely :)
