When you’re driving home from school pick up the last thing you think you’ll see is a pigeon drop out of the sky and land in the ditch. Well that’s what happened when we found S’mores. She’s an ex-racing pigeon, and we suspect that she had just become exhausted. After a few weeks in the house relaxing and recuperating, she warmed up to us, accepting treats from our hands and approaching us. She’s still shy but that’s ok, some birds just need a little more space.
