Chase is a former racer pigeon that self-rescued on our balcony and has been part of our family for almost 2 years. He is always curious about what his flock is up to as seen in this photo as he watches me work from home. We have learned so much about pigeons with the biggest lesson being that patience is key to building trust. Chase has also learned to communicate with us, especially when he wants a bath. He decides its bath time by jumping into his water bowl which signals to us to fill his bath tub. He gets daily flight time in his mini flyper to explore his home and often flies to us, hoping for some hulled sunflower seeds or to just perch and preen. He is our spoiled bachelor. We love you, Chase!
