Vivian was found as a fledgling on a street in Medford, Oregon under a pile of dead leaves and garbage. She couldn't walk. Our avian vet said that the muscles in one of her legs had never formed. She was given a painkiller, and I was given the instruction to make her move around. So, I chased her around the house every day for her physical therapy. She grew up to be a healthy, happy house pigeon, fully capable of walking and flying. She married one-winged pigeon, Mr. Pidge. I love her dearly!
