It snows in Jacksonville, Oregon, and it gets very cold here in the winter (sometimes into the twenties). While the flock certainly prefers warmer temperatures, pigeons are fine in these temperatures. We added hot water to the faucet inside the aviary to help us with winter cleaning. And, we use both infrared heaters and forced air blowers to keep the floor from icing. Having an aviary in a place with all seasons is totally doable (and doubly wonderful!)
