Coconut is a jacobin pigeon who we rescued on Mother’s Day. We knew nothing about pigeons, but with the help of our avian vet and this group, we are learning what wonderful pets they make. This photo is the first time he allowed me to hold him, six weeks after we rescued him. Slowly he is bonding with me and loves me to hold and pet his head. We feel fortunate that we were able to rescue him. We love him and his sweet disposition.
