Nessie was my beloved pigeon for a long time. He was rescued years ago and made blind by the dye someone used to color him green (along with two other homing pigeons). He has lived in my gentle aviary and thrived but I always felt he needed his own person and would really appreciate a pampered life inside. I finally found the perfect family and, although it was difficult to give him up, I knew he’d finally be getting the love he deserves. Here he is snuggling with his BFF, Hailey. My heart is full and so is his.
