As a kid, I was (and still am) VERY into birds, and I found a GIANT BOOK about pigeons and doves. I read and read (I'm still not done with that book) and discovered how cool pigeons. A few years later, I was still into pigeons, and decided to convince my parents to let me adopt one. So for about a week I spent hours working on my presentation. Soon we adopted Libby. He settled in pretty much immediately. To this day, even though we travel occasionally, he loves me very much, loves to be cuddled, and follows me everywhere.
